Chartered Geographer
Chartered Geographer (CGeog) is the Society’s international accreditation recognising competence, experience and professionalism in the application of geographical knowledge, skills, methods/techniques, insights and judgments to an individual’s professional practice, and a commitment to maintaining this expertise through Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Chartered Geographers’ knowledge and skills may be based in the physical, environmental or social sciences or in the humanities, and across many areas of work: in education, teaching and training, in research, in the commercial world, including consultancy, in the public sector, charitable organisations, the planning professions and in resource management.
The founder of Geographia is proud to be a Fellow of the RGS (IBG) and to have achieved Chartered Geographer Status.
